Our Story
I started Greyhame because of my lived experience as a neurodivergent leader who eventually hit burnout.
For years I faced countless difficulties and challenges that I thought everyone faced. Fighting to stay focused, or becoming so absorbed in something I would forget to eat and drink. Being misunderstood, despite meticulously explaining every detail of my idea, and struggling with feelings of rejection. Being praised for my strategic mind, but struggling to break the enigma of social norms. Despite knowing my strengths, the want of understanding from others, and lack of support, left me feeling “othered”, rather than accepted.
My professional experiences have highlighted the numerous and significant pitfalls that face neurodivergent individuals like me, and the lack of organisational support to help alleviate the daily challenges we face. But more than this, my experiences highlighted to me that treating neurotypical and neurodivergent people as "us and them" prevents all parties being heard and the best outcomes being achieved.
These experiences have informed Greyhame's unique and personal style to neurodivergent coaching and business change. Our focus is on the individual and how we can best honour their needs and ensure they can achieve their best, whilst avoiding burnout. By listening to individual needs and working to identify tailored solutions, we believe that everyone can meet their full potential, feel seen and heard, and grow alongside their organisation.
